Art Immersion Programs for Kids

Our classes provide an exciting and comprehensive immersion in the arts for children ages 5 through their teenage years. Our dynamic nine-month curriculum explores a wide variety of art forms, making it perfect for children of all ages and skill levels. Students will delve into art history and terminology and have the opportunity to showcase their work in several art shows. Through step-by-step projects, each featuring different techniques, students will develop a thorough understanding of art as they progress from one project to the next.

Class Details

Our Art Immersion Program is a comprehensive, 10-month creative journey designed for children ages 6 through their teenage years. It welcomes all skill levels and provides a nurturing space where students explore their artistic voice while learning new techniques and building confidence.

Program Schedule:

  • Runs from August to May

  • Weekly classes on Monday or Tuesday at Lakewood Ranch Location

  • Wednesday or Thursday at Sarasota Downtown location.

  • Time options: 4:30–5:30 pm or 5:45–6:45 pm

  • No classes during Thanksgiving week, Christmas and Spring Break

Class Descriptions:

Beginners (Ages 5–7) – Intro to Art

  • Build foundational art skills using materials like paint, paper maché, and watercolor.

  • Learn about famous artists and basic art history.

  • Improve focus and creativity through games and guided activities.

  • Create a year-long portfolio to present at the final showcase.

Art 1 (Ages 8–10)

  • Explore creative techniques with media such as clay, paint, and mosaics.

  • Study major art movements and appreciation

  • Practice drawing with Ebony pencil, ink, and pastels.

  • Develop a seasonal portfolio featured in student gallery shows.

Art 2 (Ages 10–Teens)

  • Advance in three-dimensional work with clay and sculpture, collage.

  • Focus on complex, multi-week projects.

  • Build a refined portfolio with personal expression.

Advanced Class (by invitation) _ Adult Class

For students who have completed Art 2.

  • Work independently with a custom Art Work.

  • Follow a nine-month guided curriculum tailored to their personal style and goals.

Payment Options:

  • $160 per month

  • $1600 for full season (with 5% discount)

 

Important Note:
Tuition rates are for the full season (August to May) and are divided into monthly payments. These payments will be automatically scheduled when due. Payments will stop once our class sessions are complete at the end of the season.

Class Requirements:

 

  • Students should be developmentally capable of working independently and behaving appropriately in a specialized art class setting.
